OF PROVIDING COMMUNITY BASED MEDICAL SERVICES IN THE BRONX


For the past twenty-six years, Soundview HealthCare Network's mission has been to provide high quality, affordable, and comprehensive non-emergency primary health care and specialty care to neighborhoods of the Bronx that are medically underserved. Soundview HealthCare Network manages approximately 90,000 patient visits per year.
Under the leadership of former New York State Senator Pedro Espada, Jr., Founder and President, Soundview provides a full range of comprehensive primary healthcare services. These services are delivered through a long established team approach by dedicated physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals. Medical care provided includes Cardiology, Prenatal, Pediatric, Geriatric, Obstetric, Gynecological, and Dental Services.
Soundview also offers subspecialty services in the areas of Infectious Disease, Podiatry, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Chiropractic, Audiology, Behavioral Health Social Services, Allergy and Asthma. In addition Soundview provides HIV/AIDS counseling, testing, education, community food pantry programs and outreach services.
Soundview operates five healthcare centers throughout the Bronx; Soundview Health Center, The Diallo Medical Center, The Jessica Guzman Medical Center, Burnside Medical Center and The Delany Sisters Health Center.
